Membership Information

Women Lawyers’ Association of NSW Incorporated (WLANSW) is the peak body representing women lawyers in NSW. WLANSW has been committed to improving the status and working conditions of women lawyers since 1952. Our members include solicitors, barristers, judicial officers, academics, corporate counsel, lawyers and law students.

Membership Benefits:
• “Advancing Women in Law” Programs devoted to the advancement of women in the legal profession, the primary objective of WLANSW.
• Discounted member rates, some complimentary, to all our events and invitations to other events and programs through our affiliations including Member Only invitations

Australian Women Lawyers (AWL)
Formed in 1997, AWL provides a collective national voice, a vehicle for communication and the sharing of ideas amongst the Associations. AWL is funded by each State and Territory Women Lawyers Association. Ten percent of WLANSW membership fees collected is paid directly to AWL.
