"A Spirited Life" : National Trust explores the ‘spirited life’ of NSW’s first woman solicitor with new public program series. She was a law unto herself: a pioneer for women in law, a mountaineer, explorer, bush walker, feminist, author and a founding member of the Buddhist Society of NSW to boot. And for the first time, the National Trust of Australia (NSW) is organising an exhibition and series of public talks, film screenings and tours focusing on Marie Byles' colourful life. A Spirited Life runs from September 5-29th.
