Women Lawyers Association of NSW

27 October 2006

Dear Members & Colleagues

Due to unforseen circumstances, the launch of our Women Lawyers Awards & Advancing Women in Law Programs on 9 November 2006 has been postponed until early 2007 and we will bring you further details in the New Year.

Please note that our AGM will be held on 30 November 2006 and I encourage you to renew or join if you not done so already and to consider standing for a position It is a great way to meet other lawyers, both male and female, and to extend your knowledge base of the law outside of the somewhat narrow confines that we all seem to practice in because we are generally so busy.

This year's Xmas Cocktail event will be held on Tuesday 12th December at Moonshadow at the MLC Centre, so please note your diaries and we will forward invitations shortly.

Kind regards

Louise Byrne

President
