Dear Members & Colleagues
Please find below the Notice of Meeting for the 2009 Annual General Meeting of the Women Lawyers’ Association of NSW to be held at the Law Society of NSW at 5.30pm on Thursday 19th November 2009.
Nominations are invited for the following Executive Committee positions:
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Policy Officer
• Functions Officer
• Education Officer
• Media Officer
• Research Officer
• Fundraising Officer
• Professional Issues Officer
I encourage you to nominate yourself or another member for a position on the Executive Committee. A Nomination Form is attached below for this purpose.
If you are unable to attend in person I encourage you to vote using the attached Proxy Form. In order to assist with administration, it would be appreciated if you would return any proxies to our Executive Officer by 5.30pm on 16 November 2009.
To further assist with administration, and catering, I would be grateful if you would submit your Nomination/s (together with biographical details and an election platform not exceeding 100 words) by 16 November 2009, and advise Kathryn McKenzie, Executive Officer, if you will be attending the AGM.
